These terms govern your use of the LootLocal customer app and loyalty service. By creating a customer account and ticking the acceptance box, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not create or use an account.

1. Your account

Your account is personal to you. Keep access to your email secure and keep your information accurate. You must be legally capable of accepting these terms and meet the minimum digital-consent age in your country.

2. What LootLocal does

LootLocal lets you join participating merchants’ digital loyalty cards, complete merchant-verified steps, earn points, redeem merchant offers, receive rewards and use the local LootLocal Store. Participating merchants are independent businesses and remain responsible for the goods and services they sell.

3. Points

  • Points are promotional loyalty units, not money or electronic money.
  • Points have no cash value and cannot be cashed out, sold or transferred.
  • Customers cannot buy or top up points.
  • Points apply only as a discount; qualifying purchases always retain a real-money portion.
  • Your wallet has one native currency determined by your confirmed home country.
  • Travel Bridge conversion may apply only to supported participating-merchant offers; the LootLocal Store remains local.

4. Loyalty steps, offers and rewards

A loyalty step is completed only after the participating merchant verifies it. Offer and reward collection uses the merchant’s rotating QR code and merchant confirmation. Time limits, point costs, availability and any material restrictions are shown in the app before you act.

5. Promotional draws

Some eligible activity may create promotional draw entries. The app applies the published eligibility, funding, crowd-gate, expiry and fairness rules automatically. Entries have no cash value and cannot be purchased or transferred.

6. LootLocal Store

Store items are offered for a specified country and currency. You may use points for an eligible discount and pay the remainder through our payment processor. Item availability, delivery, cancellation, withdrawal and refund information shown at checkout forms part of the transaction. Your mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.

7. Fair use

Do not fabricate verifications, collude with another person or merchant, manipulate draws or refunds, operate duplicate accounts, sell points or codes, bypass safeguards, reverse engineer security controls, or use LootLocal unlawfully. We may suspend activity while investigating suspected abuse and may reverse benefits obtained through abuse.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we use, why we use it, our processors and your rights. A delivery address is requested only when a physical Store order needs shipping.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account from Settings. Deletion is permanent. Remaining promotional points and entries lapse, while records that must be retained by law may be restricted and retained for the required period. Paid-purchase consumer rights remain unaffected.

10. Changes and availability

We may change the service or these terms for valid operational, legal, security or product reasons. Material changes will be presented with a new version and, where required, fresh acceptance. We do not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and your mandatory consumer protections remain in force.
